    School Threat Assessment Teams and Security Considerations

    1.5 hours - This webinar provides a practical overview of the common risks faced by school threat assessment teams and the mitigation strategies to improve decision-making and documentation.

    Participants will explore coordination with administrators, mental health partners, and law enforcement, and will also review general school security practices—including physical security basics to support prevention, response, and a safer learning environment. Recommended for K–12 administrators, school safety/security personnel, threat assessment team members, school counselors/psychologists/social workers, SROs and local law enforcement partners, and district risk management/compliance staff.

    ** To maintain the integrity of MSI classes and our ability to offer CEUs when available, we must abide by the rules of the State agency who issued the designation. Chief among those rules is the attendee of the class must attend the whole session.

    Attendees who enter the class more than 5 minutes late or leave early will not be awarded CEUs for the class or receive a certificate of completion.
